Three major Kenyan state agencies have announced multiple vacancies for senior and mid-level positions, with application deadlines set for late February 2026 across the various institutions.

The National Social Security Fund, the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, and the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service have launched a coordinated recruitment drive for several high-level positions. The move follows a period of administrative shifts in the public sector, including the recent cancellation of previous advertisements by the Kenya Revenue Authority and the National Crime Research Centre.

At the National Social Security Fund, the recruitment focus is on strengthening its senior management tier. The fund is seeking to fill vacancies for managers in Corporate Communications, Information Communication Technology, Marketing and Customer Experience, Human Resources, and Property Management. Applicants for these roles generally require 15 years of relevant experience, with at least five years in a management capacity. Submissions for the NSSF positions close on February 23, 2026.

Simultaneously, the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development has opened 14 permanent and pensionable positions. These include roles for assistant directors and senior curriculum development officers. Professionals interested in the KICD vacancies have until February 27, 2026, to submit their credentials through the institute’s official portal.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service is also expanding its executive team. Vacancies at KUCCPS include directors for ICT and Innovation, Finance and Accounts, and Human Resource and Administration. Additionally, the agency is recruiting for legal, planning, and supply chain management officers, as well as several drivers. The KUCCPS application window remains open from February 3 to February 23, 2026.

All three institutions have emphasized adherence to Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya regarding integrity. Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide clearance certificates from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the Higher Education Loans Board, and the Kenya Revenue Authority. The agencies have specified that applications must be submitted through their respective online portals to ensure a streamlined selection process.
