The Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS) held a graduates' dinner for its Class of 2025 at the Emara Ole-Sereni Hotel in Nairobi on the evening of June 26, 2026.
The event, themed "A Toast to New Beginnings," was organised in partnership with Crown Paints Kenya and brought together newly registered architects and quantity surveyors who completed their professional examinations earlier in the year.

BORAQS is the statutory body responsible for regulating the architecture and quantity surveying professions in Kenya, established in 1934 under what is now Chapter 525 of the Laws of Kenya. The board has registered more than 1,800 architects and 1,000 quantity surveyors in the country since its founding.
The programme for the evening included remarks from BORAQS leadership, representatives of the Architectural Association of Kenya and the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya, and a keynote address from Crown Paints Kenya's leadership, alongside contributions from the graduating cohort itself.
The same Class of 2025 had earlier taken part in a BORAQS Continuing Professional Development seminar at Safari Park Hotel in May, themed "Health and Dignity in the Built Environment," which focused on biophilic design and its relevance to Kenya's urban building practices.
