Busia 2,000-Unit Housing Site Construction Hits Key Thresholds

Construction at the Busia Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) Estate has gained momentum in Busia Town. The project falls under the government Boma Yangu Affordable Housing Programme (AHP), which aims to address national housing deficits.

The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration (SDISNA) provides ground coordination and security for the project. Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo confirmed the current build statistics on the ten point five acre development site.

Financing options for buyers are structured through the Tenant Purchase Scheme (TPS) framework. Buyers can access monthly installment plans, which allow gradual homeownership over an extended payment period agreed with scheme administrators.
