Fire Outbreak Alert - at Mwembe Tayari residential property

Firefighters from the Mombasa County Fire Department were deployed to Mwembe Tayari on Tuesday afternoon to combat a blaze that broke out in a residential building located behind the Simba Coach offices. The fire caused extensive damage to the house, though emergency responders managed to stop the flames from reaching neighboring structures in the densely populated area.

County officials confirmed that all occupants of the property were safely accounted for during the incident. No casualties or physical injuries were recorded among the residents or the responding fire crews. The containment of the fire was a priority for the department given the proximity of the site to busy transport offices and other commercial buildings.
