The upgrade represents a major investment in county sports infrastructure. It forms part of wider efforts to promote physical activity and community events.
Construction of terraces and the canopy requires careful coordination of concrete works and structural steel. Progress on these elements indicates steady advancement toward the deadline.
The ring road and parking upgrades will integrate with the existing site layout. They will enhance overall functionality for large gatherings.
Officials reviewed the quality of finishes during the tour. Attention to detail in the mechanical and electrical packages received particular note.
Upon handover the stadium will operate under county management. It will host football matches, athletics and other sporting activities for the region.
The expanded capacity will allow larger crowds to attend events safely. This change supports the growth of sports culture in Siaya and neighbouring areas.
