East Africa's Biggest Construction Trade Show Returns to Nairobi This July

The 27th edition of Buildexpo Kenya opens on July 8, 2026, at the Carnivore Exhibition Grounds in Nairobi, running through July 10 from 10.00am to 6.00pm daily.

Now in its 27th year, Buildexpo Kenya is the largest construction and building materials trade exhibition in East Africa, organised by Expogroup Worldwide.

The three-day show will feature exhibitors from over 40 countries, including international pavilions from India, China, Turkey, Italy, Malaysia, and Germany. More than 10,000 products, equipment, and machinery items are expected on display across over 10,000 square metres of exhibition space.

Product categories on show span building materials, construction machinery, heavy equipment, steel and aluminium products, doors and windows, hardware, flooring, lighting, paints and coatings, and HVAC technologies.

The event draws trade visitors from across East Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with participation coordinated through regional trade bodies. Over 10,000 visitors are expected across the three days.

A conference programme featuring over 50 experts will run alongside the exhibition, covering technology, policy, and industry strategy.

For professionals in Kenya's construction sector, Buildexpo remains one of the few events in the region where contractors, architects, quantity surveyors, and project managers can access international suppliers and emerging construction technology under one roof.
