Newly released government files confirm a 2015 lockdown at the Pantex site following an unexplained aerial intrusion.

The United States Department of Defense (DOD) has published a new collection of declassified files regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). This fourth release includes 40 documents, videos, and audio recordings spanning several deades of government investigations.

One report details a 2015 incident at the Pantex nuclear weapons facility near Amarillo, Texas. This site serves as the primary location for the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of the nation's nuclear arsenal.

According to the documentation provided by the Department of Energy (DOE), an unidentified object entered the restricted airspace above the facility in September 2015. Two security officers pursued the craft while the site underwent a formal lockdown.

The officers reported the object as diamond-shaped with a rounded top, measuring approximately four feet in height and two feet at the base. Estimates placed the object moving at speeds between 10 and 15 miles per hour.

Despite their proximity, the officers could not intercept the craft. They stopped their vehicle to observe the object through binoculars, noting that it moved in total silence. They also reported a complete absence of visible propulsion systems.

After hovering in the restricted area for up to two minutes, the object traveled north and exited the facility airspace. The records do not provide a definitive explanation for the craft or its origins.

The release is part of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE), an initiative designed to increase public transparency. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) continues to analyze such reports as part of its mandate to investigate unexplained aerial sightings.

Other files in this batch include a 1949 conference transcript regarding green fireballs over Los Alamos and 2020 infrared footage of a balloon-like object over the Atlantic Ocean. While some historical documents offer potential explanations, such as meteor activity or atmospheric conditions, many remain classified as unresolved.

Military personnel and civilian observers provided much of the testimony included in the new disclosures. One senior military aviator described an encounter with an object that appeared unlike anything witnessed in 28 years of service.

The DOD maintains that while these records provide detailed accounts, they do not confirm extraterrestrial activity. Officials state that information remains insufficient to reach conclusive findings for many of these incidents.

The government plans to continue releasing UAP-related materials on a rolling basis. Sensitive information, including specific witness identities and precise military technical data, remains redacted to protect national security interests.
