Rendeavour has appointed China Road and Bridge Corporation as main contractor for Jabili Towers, with Tower A already 80% pre-sold in the mixed-use development at Tatu City.

Construction has officially started on Jabili Towers, the premier mixed-use development located at the heart of Tatu City. Rendeavour, the developer, has appointed China Road and Bridge Corporation as the main contractor for the project.

The development includes twin residential towers rising 20 and 31 storeys. It will also feature a 150-room hotel, Grade A offices, shops, restaurants and premium lifestyle amenities.

Tower A of the residential component is already 80% pre-sold. Located in Tatu Central, the city’s vibrant business and lifestyle district, Jabili Towers adds to the growing portfolio of high-quality developments in Kenya’s first operational mixed-use Special Economic Zone.

Stephen Jennings, Founder and CEO of Rendeavour, emphasised the significance of the CRBC appointment. He said it demonstrates the company’s commitment to quality and sourcing partners who share uncompromising standards of execution.

"The commencement of construction at Jabili Towers is a clear demonstration of our commitment to delivering what we promise," Jennings stated. "Quality is non-negotiable and drives every decision we make."

The project is expected to create more than 2,000 jobs across construction and operations. It reflects growing confidence in a holistic lifestyle destination where people can live, work, learn and thrive.

Jabili Towers builds on over 15 years of infrastructure investment in Tatu City. The development combines residential, hospitality, commercial and retail components in one integrated precinct designed for modern urban living.

Rendeavour has focused on delivering lasting value through careful planning and execution. The choice of CRBC aligns with this approach for a project that will shape the skyline of Tatu Central. CRBC is also handling the huge NSSF Twin Towers.

Tatu City continues to attract significant investment as a fully planned urban centre. Its Special Economic Zone status has been key to drawing both local and international developers and businesses.

The project addresses Kenya’s growing demand for quality residential, commercial and hospitality space. Mixed-use developments of this scale are seen as important for creating sustainable, integrated urban environments.

Progress on site will be monitored closely by the real estate sector. Early pre-sales success indicates strong market demand for premium properties in well-serviced, master-planned locations.

Rendeavour has established a strong track record with large-scale projects in Kenya. Jabili Towers represents the next phase in the evolution of Tatu City as a leading new urban centre.

Further updates on construction timelines and specific design elements are expected as works advance. The development is positioned as a flagship for contemporary living and working in Kenya’s fast-growing capital region.
