Financing support from international advisers strengthens balance sheet projections prior to launching the public share offering.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has secured a $400 million underwriting commitment from Marob Strategies and Consulting DIFC Ltd. alongside Lilium Capital Group ahead of its planned initial public offering (IPO).

The underwriting arrangement remains subject to regulatory approvals, corporate sign-offs, execution of definitive documentation, and general market conditions. The arrangement serves as a financial backstop as the megaproject prepares for its public market debit.

Prior to obtaining this commitment, the mega industrial facility had already raised $2.5 billion through an oversubscribed private placement.

Pan-African investment firms and advisory groups continue coordinating equity participation among sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and government entities across the region.

The refinery complex, situated in Lagos, Nigeria, represents a massive industrial development designed to process crude oil and reduce regional fuel import dependency.

Company leadership indicated that the capital raised during the upcoming equity sale will support operational scale and planned long-term expansion goals.

Financial advisers confirmed that discussions remain ongoing with several African stock exchanges regarding cross-listing options to widen institutional participation.

Early estimates suggest regional capital markets, including pension funds and corporate entities, are examining direct investment avenues into the energy infrastructure asset.

The planned public offering will launch on the Nigerian Exchange first, followed by prospective secondary listings across selected regional equity markets once statutory requirements are met.
