Women in Real Estate (WIRE) Kenya and Design Source will host a joint celebration on July 9, 2026, marking seven years and twenty years of operation respectively within Kenya's built environment sector.
WIRE Kenya is a networking organisation founded in 2016 and dedicated to advancing the achievements of women across the built industry, working through business development, leadership training, industry research, and mentorship programmes. Design Source is an architecture and interior design platform that has operated in Kenya since 2006.
The event, themed "Two Milestones, Two Events, One Shared Vision," will take place at Highway Heights, 12th Floor Jenga Leo. It brings together two programmes under one roof, the Future Builders Lab, aimed at teenagers aged 13 to 18, running from 2.00pm to 5.00pm, and the Young Professionals Forum, scheduled for 4.30pm to 7.00pm.
The Future Builders Lab is designed to introduce younger participants to robotics and construction-related innovation, while the Young Professionals Forum is positioned as a masterclass bridging foundational industry standards with real-world technical execution, connecting young professionals and recent graduates with high-value industry engagement.
The event is organised in partnership with Little Einsteins, a youth-focused science education initiative that runs hands-on robotics and STEM programmes for children and teenagers across Kenya, aiming to build early interest in technical and innovation-driven careers.
Those interested in attending the Young Professionals Forum can register at luma.com/wwxjjdxp. Further details on the Future Builders Lab and the wider celebration can be found through WIRE Kenya's website, wire.or.ke.
