LaGuardia Ground Operations Halted Following Fatal Air Canada Runway Collision

Operations at New York’s LaGuardia Airport came to a standstill late Sunday, following a high-velocity collision involving an Air Canada Express regional jet and an airport fire department vehicle. The incident, which occurred shortly after the aircraft touched down, resulted in the deaths of both pilots on board the aircraft.
