Construction at the Talanta Sports City in Nairobi has reached a visible milestone with the commencement of spectator seating installation. New images from the site reveal rows of bright green folding seats being fixed onto the concrete terracing, matching the national colors and the aesthetic theme of the multi-purpose facility.

The installation marks a transition from heavy structural works to the detailed finishing stage of the stadium. Workers are currently aligning the seating brackets across the lower tiers, ensuring uniform spacing and sightlines for future spectators. The choice of high-density polyethylene seats is standard for modern sports arenas, offering durability against UV radiation and varying weather conditions typical of the Nairobi climate.

Talanta Sports City is being developed as a centerpiece for Kenya's sports infrastructure, designed to host international football matches and rugby tournaments. The project is a critical component of the country’s plan to provide world-class facilities for upcoming continental events. The stadium design focuses on a compact, high-atmosphere bowl configuration, which is now becoming apparent as the seating rows take shape.
